JOSEPH BERGER, II, died March 3, 2010. Beloved husband of Elaine (nee Goldstein) Berger; dear father of Kathryn Hammer and Frederick J. (Linda) Berger; loving grandfather of Alison Hammer and Elizabeth Hammer, Matthew J. (Sara Verkest) Berger, Elise M. Berger and Lindsay Berger; dear brother of Thomas (Joyce) Berger and the late Richard Berger; dear brother-in-law of the late Joyce (the late Rodrick J.) Lewin. Joseph was an Eagle Scout, Boy Scout leader, volunteered to fight in WWII and served as a Sergeant in the United States Air Force during WWII. He was an avid golfer throughout his life and achieved the rare accomplishment of having six holes in one. He had a great sense of humor, loved life, was charitable and believed in casting one's bread across the water. Joseph was truly a unique person who will be forever loved and missed by his family, cousins and friends. Contributions to the charity of the donor's choice. Berger Memorial
