Who says you can’t spend a summer day on the slopes? Hidden Valley’s newest addition — a year-round ziplining course — takes adventurers over the treetops.
The 2.5 hour ZipTour is complete with two chairlift rides, two short hikes and four ziplines, the final one named “Skyline” for zipliners’ hazy view of the city. It features new ziplining technology: riders are given their own trolleys and can control their speed on each line. Riders zipline in true Noah’s ark fashion — two-by-two — and can play with the person next to them by speeding up and slowing down.
The ZipTour is operated in small groups led by the resort’s staff and allows riders ages 10 and up. The course’s Grand Opening was June 29, and it is open from 9 a.m. to sunset daily, closed on Tuesdays.
